Cincinnati woman sentenced after wrong-way OVI chase on I-74.Cincinnati woman sentenced after wrong-way OVI chase on I-74 DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind.(WKRC) - A Cincinnati woman was sentenced after driving the wrong way on Interstate 74 while under the influence during a 2025 incident, prosecutors said.Erin Dowers was convicted of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.Indiana State Police receive multiple reports after 1 a.m.of a driver traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-74.Authorities said a trooper located Dowers and used a patrol cruiser to disable her vehicle.According to Prosecutor Lynn Deddens, Dowers was sentenced to 545 days in jail but could be released after 272 days with good-time credit.She also was ordered to serve one year of probation, complete 40 hours of community service and surrender her driver’s license for one year.
