Perry Co., Mo.to change some voting precincts and polling locations.Perry Co., Mo.to change some voting precincts and polling locations PERRYVILLE, Mo.(KFVS) - Some Perry County voters will need to double-check where they will vote starting with the August Primary Election.The Perry County Election Authority is merging the Highland and Biehle precincts.Additionally, voters who previously cast ballots at the Highland Catholic Church Hall will vote at the St.Maurus Parish Center, 10198 Highway B in Perryville.Belgique/Sereno voters will also see a change.Those who previously voted at Our Lady of Victory Church in Sereno will vote at the Perryville Elks Lodge, 921 N.Perryville Blvd., alongside voters from the P-5 precinct.Affected voters will receive postcards notifying them of the changes and new voter registration cards reflecting their updated polling locations, officials said.Election officials encouraged voters to confirm their polling location before Election Day.County Clerk and Election Authority Jared Kutz said the changes are a cost-savings to the taxpayers, “We are continuously evaluating ways to create cost savings and efficiency in our operations.” Kutz also noted that Missouri’s “No Excuse Absentee Voting” allows voters to cast a ballot at the courthouse during the two weeks before an election if getting to their polling place on Election Day is inconvenient or impossible.Absentee voting is available starting six weeks before an election, officials said.In-person absentee voting is offered at the Perry County Clerk’s Office at the Perry County Courthouse, 15 W.Maries St., Perryville, from 8 a.m.to 4:30 p.m.Monday through Friday.Mail-in absentee voting is also available.More information can be found at https://perrycountymo.us/120/Absentee-Voting.For questions about the changes or to serve as an election judge, contact the Perry County Clerk’s Office at 573-547-4242.Copyright 2026 KFVS.All rights reserved.
