Tonganoxie man sentenced in child pornography case.Tonganoxie man sentenced in child pornography case LEAVENWORTH COUNTY, Kan.(KCTV) - A Tonganoxie man is headed to prison for several years after pleading guilty to charges that involve possessing and distributing child pornography.Twenty-three-year-old Ridge T.Vincent was sentenced to 91 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to aggravated internet trading in child pornography and sexual exploitation of a child.Vincent pleaded guilty to the charges on April 1, 2026.Court documents say the case began in December 2024 when instant messaging application Kik reported apparent child pornography to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.Defense attorneys sought probation for Vincent, but prosecutors opposed the request, arguing in court that his testimony did not provide compelling reasons to depart from his presumptive prison sentence.Ultimately, a Leavenworth County judge sentenced him to 59 months in prison for the aggravated internet trading in child pornography charge, and 32 months in prison for the sexual exploitation of a child charge.The sentences will run consecutively.Copyright 2026 KCTV.All rights reserved.Join The Conversation We want to hear what you think.Create a free account to share your thoughts.Read our community guidelines here.
