Blotter: Man flipped truck on Highway 59 after falling asleep at the wheel, walked away with small cuts.CRASH HIGHWAY 59: A 21-year-old man was not hurt after flipping his truck Saturday evening.Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 59 south of Bishop Road.A 21-year-old man was driving a gray 2015 Ford F-150 when he fell asleep.He was going about 70 mph and went into the oncoming lane before the truck hit an embankment, said Undersheriff Quentin Reynolds.The truck went airborne and flipped end over end before coming to a stop in a ditch on the driver’s side.The truck was totaled, but the man had no injuries aside from minor cuts.He was not ticketed.FLYWIND SPUR: A 16-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after deputies responded to a crash Monday night, Reynolds said.They found a 2007 Polaris Razor on its side, and the boy, the driver of the vehicle, had notable injuries to his left leg.EMS responded and took him to the hospital.No further information was available as of Tuesday morning.SKYLINE DRIVE AND INTERSTATE 90: A 64-year-old woman ran a red light and crashed her 2011 Chevy truck into a 2021 Dodge truck, driven by a 49-year-old woman, at about 8:15 a.m.Friday, Gillette Police Capt.Kelly Alger said.The 49-year-old woman was driving with her 10-year-old son, and they both told officers they had neck pain.They did not go to the hospital.Both vehicles were operable after the crash and the 64-year-old woman was ticketed for running a red light.HIGHWAY 59 AND LAKEWAY ROAD: A 27-year-old woman driving a 2020 white Chevy SUV failed to yield to a 2023 Buick SUV driven by a 57-year-old woman, injuring both drivers at about 9 a.m.Friday, Alger said.Officers responded and found that the 57-year-old woman’s wrist appeared to be broken.The 27-year-old woman had injuries to her sternum, abdomen and right leg.She was ticketed for failing to yield.THEFT 900 BLOCK WEST EIGHTH STREET: A 73-year-old woman reported that someone stole her dirty laundry, worth about $100, from her apartment’s laundry room at about 2 p.m.Friday, Alger said.There are no known suspects, but the laundry room has camera which officers had yet to access at time of press.The investigation continues.ESCAPE 7500 BLOCK SOUTH HIGHWAY 59: Deputies arrested 40-year-old Larry Sinning Jr.late Saturday morning after responding to a vehicle repossession, Reynolds said.A woman called and said that Sinning had come out and given her the keys to a car, and deputies learned that Sinning was supposed to be at a drug treatment center in Denver.They discovered that Sinning had rented the car after leaving the facility on May 20 and returned to Campbell County.A warrant was granted for his arrest, and he was taken to jail.DRUGS HIGHWAY 50 AND CATTLE TRAIL COURT: 38-year-old Timothy Yoshida was arrested Monday night after police found him in a parked 2021 Silver Jeep Wrangler with Colorado plates on the northbound shoulder of the highway facing south.He had an active warrant for his arrest out of Albany County, Reynolds said.He was taken to jail, but during a search of his Jeep, deputies found suspected crystal meth, marijuana, a THC vape and mushrooms, in addition to a Ruger 9mm.For this, Yoshida was charged with three counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, as well as possession of a firearm by a person with a non-violent felony.BOXELDER BUSINESS CENTER: 44-year-old George Wederski was arrested for possession of a controlled substance Saturday night after deputies pulled him over in a gold 2006 Chrysler 300 for a malfunctioning taillight, Reynolds said.During the stop, deputies noted the smell of marijuana, and Wederski admitted to having a small baggy of weed in the ashtray, which was located after a quick search.Wederski was arrested for drug possession, which was upgraded to a felony due to his previous three convictions.HIGHWAY 50 AND SOUTHERN DRIVE: A 20-year-old woman was arrested Monday afternoon after deputies pulled over a black 2010 F-150 for speeding, Reynolds said.During the stop, the 21-year-old man driving the truck seemed nervous, and a drug dog later indicated on the vehicle.Deputies found a black THC vape pen which was claimed by the woman, leading to her arrest on one count of possession.The man was released from the scene without charges.DRUNKEN DRIVING 7500 BLOCK SOUTH HIGHWAY 59: A 23-year-old man was arrested after deputies pulled him over in a gray 2017 Mercedes C-300 for speeding 112 mph in a 50 mph zone Saturday night, Reynolds said.During the stop, deputies noticed he had watery and bloodshot eyes while an odor of alcohol, and they smelled alcohol coming from the car.Deputies arrested the man after he performed poorly on sobriety tests, however he attempted to flee initially but was unable to break the deputy’s grip.The man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, lack of insurance and interference.HIGHWAY 59: A 30-year-old man was arrested late Saturday night after deputies pulled him over in a blue Dodge near mile marker 80 for failing to maintain his lane of travel, Reynolds said.The man admitted to having two shots and a beer before driving.He was arrested for DUI after performing poorly on sobriety tests.WEST LAKEWAY ROAD AND SKYLINE DRIVE: Deputies pulled over a 23-year-old man driving a gray 2009 Ford F-250 for speeding 54 mph in a 45 mph zone shortly before midnight Friday, Reynolds said.When he tried to pull over, the man drove up onto the elevated sidewalk, and he appeared to be drunk.The man admitted to drinking before driving and was arrested for DUI after a poor performance on the sobriety tests.HONG KONG RESTAURANT: Officers received an anonymous call about a drunk 34-year-old man driving a 2017 Mitsubishi at about 2:15 p.m.Friday, Alger said.Officers found the reported man in the parking lot of the restaurant.He was making incoherent statements and smelled like alcohol when officers made contact.He admitted to driving after drinking five beers.He was unable to complete field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license.SHELL STATION ON SECOND STREET: A 26-year-old man was arrested for DUI Saturday night.Officers stopped his 2023 Jeep Gladiator for speeding and not having taillights.He told officers he drank half a beer at about 8 p.m.Saturday, Alger said.The man failed field sobriety tests and a breath test after officers obtained a warrant.He was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without taillights.300 BLOCK COMMERCE DRIVE: Officers responded to a call about multiple juveniles driving from a party in a Ford Focus and a Ford Taurus after drinking at about 1:30 a.m.Tuesday, Alger said.Officers stopped the Focus for swerving.The car had four people in it and a 19-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were ticketed for minor in consumption of alcohol.The driver, an 18-year-old woman, was arrested for youthful offender driving under the influence of alcohol.Officers found the Taurus in a parking lot, and two women trying to hide with the seats all the way down.The car smelled like alcohol and the 18-year-old woman driving was arrested for DUI.UNDERAGE DRINKING 1200 BLOCK TONK STREET: Officers busted a party with a bunch of juveniles after receiving a loud noise complaint at about midnight Sunday, Alger said.A 20-year-old man answered the door and told officers it was his house.Officers saw about 20 people who looked to be too young to drink.Some of them ran out the back door after the man answered the front door.Officers ticketed the 20-year-old, another 20-year-old man, an 18-year-old woman, and a 19-year-old man for minor in consumption of alcohol.FRAUD CAMPCO FEDERAL CREDIT UNION: A 67-year-old woman reported that she deposited four fraudulent checks leaving her account with a negative balance of $15,663 at about 2:30 p.m.Friday, Alger said.The woman told police she would meet them in person to talk about the incident.She and the police h
