AROUND 445 THIS AFTERNOON, OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE TOOK A PERSON OF INTEREST IN LAST NIGHT’S SHOOTING INTO CUSTODY.YOU CAN SEE THE VIDEO RIGHT THERE ON YOUR SCREEN OF THAT PERSON OF INTEREST IN SATURDAY NIGHT SHOOTING, BEING PLACED INTO A POLICE CAR TODAY.NOW, EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON, POLICE TELL US THAT THEY RECEIVED A CALL THAT WAS MOST LIKELY A SWATTING CALL.BUT BECAUSE OF THAT SHOOTING THAT TOOK PLACE IN THIS AREA LAST NIGHT, THEY THAT KILLED ONE PERSON AND PUT ANOTHER PERSON IN THE HOSPITAL.SEVERAL OFFICERS WERE DISPATCHED TO THIS AREA ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON, AND CALLS LIKE THIS ARE DISHEARTENING TO THE OFFICERS WHO ARE TRYING TO DO THEIR JOB AND KEEP THIS COMMUNITY SAFE.WHENEVER WE HAD THE CALLING PARTY CALLING AT THE SAME LOCATION, WE’RE ALWAYS FEARFUL THAT MAYBE THERE WAS SOME DISHEARTENING WHENEVER WE HAVE THESE OFFICERS THAT ARRIVE, HANDLE BUSINESS, DO IT SAFELY, AND THEN COME TO FIND OUT IT’S JUST SOME BAD ACTOR SOMEWHERE ELSE, JUST TRYING TO GET A RISE OUT OF US OR CAUSE THINGS TO HAPPEN AT AN AREA THAT THEY WANT SOMETHING BAD TO HAPPEN.AND ONCE AGAIN, OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE HAVE TAKEN A PERSON OF INTEREST IN LAST NIGHT’S SHOOTING IN THIS AREA.WE’RE NEAR SOUTHWEST
