Wisconsin fugitive wanted for incest, sexual assault arrested in Arizona - KTAR.com.Wisconsin fugitive wanted for incestuous child sex crimes arrested in Arizona Jun 1, 2026, 8:52 AM A fugitive from Wisconsin wanted on charges of incest and repeated sexual assault of a child was arrested in Arizona last week, authorities said.Shawn Dunham, 42, was arrested on Friday in Paulden, an unincorporated community in Yavapai County, according to the U.S.Marshals Service.Paulden is around 26 miles north of Prescott.Dunham is accused of sexually assaulting his biological child, who was a minor at the time, in the Green Bay area of Wisconsin between 2021 and 2022, according to the Marshals Service.He was allegedly living with the victim and other family members at the time of the crimes.Dunham was taken into custody without incident by the Marshals Service, which was working with the Yavapai County Gang and Immigration Intelligence Team Enforcement Mission.Authorities learned his location after Marshals Service investigators in Wisconsin discovered Dunham had relocated to Yavapai County.Wisconsin and Arizona authorities worked together to locate Dunham through surveillance, interviews and records checks.Acting U.S.Marshal Van Bayless said interstate cooperation like this helps hold fugitives wanted for serious crimes accountable.“Individuals accused of exploiting and victimizing children cannot evade accountability simply by crossing state lines,” Bayless said.“The U.S.Marshals Service remains committed to working with our law enforcement partners nationwide to locate and apprehend fugitives wanted for serious crimes.”
