Wintersville to host Thunder in the Ville June 27 at Jefferson County Airpark.Wintersville to host Thunder in the Ville June 27 at Jefferson County Airpark WINTERSVILLE, Ohio — Wintersville will host Thunder in the Ville on Saturday, June 27, with the event set for the Jefferson County Airpark to provide space for rides, attractions, the crowd and parking.Organizers said this year’s Thunder in the Ville will include a number of features for community members to enjoy, including activities for families and children.“Fireworks will be at 10 p.m.sharp," Wintersville Mayor Mike Petrella said."There’s tons of activities.We have craft vendors, food trucks, lots of things for families, especially for the kids,” Bryan Largent, director of landfill engineering at Interstate Waste Services, said the event will also mark a milestone anniversary.“Celebrating 250 years is really cool.There’s going to be a lot of great events out here and we just look forward to coming out and enjoying it with the community and hopefully we get a lot people to come out and check it out,” he said.A detailed list of what’s offered is available here.
