6 people charged in Oregon meth and cocaine distribution ring.6 people charged in Oregon meth and cocaine distribution ring FOREST GROVE, Ore.(KPTV) - The U.S.Attorney’s Office - District of Oregon announced Wednesday that six people have been charged following an investigation into a drug trafficking investigation.The attorney’s office said the following people were charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, distribution of methamphetamine and cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine: - Rafael Mora Contreras, 45, of Forest Grove - Cristina Echeverria, 42, of Forest Grove - Nathalie Claire Buchanan, 28, of Bend - Charles Ottis Johnson, 37, of Bend - Mariano Perez-Sanchez, 42, of Forest Grove - Dagoberto Ayala-Lopez, 38, of Hillsboro The attorney’s office, citing court documents said the investigation began in July 2025 when the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Oregon State Police (OSP), and Clackamas County Interagency Task Force (CCITF) began looking into a methamphetamine and cocaine supplier in Forest Grove operated and run by Perez-Sanchez.Perez-Sanchez is accused of working as a drug dispatcher and taking orders from retail level distributors.Johnson and Buchanan are accused of purchasing large amounts of meth in the Portland and Salem area to sell in the Bend area.According to the attorney’s office, Echeverria delivered a large amount of meth to Buchanan at a hotel on Feb.11, 2026.Buchanan and Johnson were pulled over by police and officers allegedly found over four pounds of meth in their car.17, 2026, Echeverria and Mora Contreras, who were driving separate cars, were both pulled over by troopers.Troopers reportedly found 28 pounds of meth and 6 kilograms of cocaine in Echeverria’s car.Ayala-Lopez is accused of working as a drug courier for Perez-Sanchez.Ayala-Lopez’s cars and home were searched and investigators found over 2 kilograms of meth, according to the attorney’s office.The investigation is ongoing, and no other details were released.Copyright 2026 KPTV-KPDX.All rights reserved.
