Kentucky man charged with murder of 22-year-old woman and her unborn baby.Kentucky man charged with murder of 22-year-old woman and her unborn baby The suspect remains at the Barren County Detention Center on a $2 million cash bond.GLASGOW, Ky.(WSMV) - A Kentucky man has been charged after he allegedly murdered a 22-year-old woman and her unborn child.According to NBC affiliate WNKY, 24-year-old Brandon Lee Bond was indicted by a grand jury last week for multiple charges, including domestic violence murder, fetal homicide and fleeing or evading police.Citing a preliminary investigation by the Glasgow Police Department, WNKY said that Bond allegedly shot 22-year-old Ava Woodcock while she was sitting inside a vehicle after a domestic violence incident.The suspect then ran to a nearby wooded area.As Bond evaded police, Woodcock was transported to a community hospital before being flown the University of Louisville Hospital with life-threatening injuries.It was there that the young expectant mother died.The suspect remains at the Barren County Detention Center on a $2 million cash bond.According to an obituary posted by the family at a funeral home, Woodcock’s unborn child had been named Neveah Marie Woodcock.The mother leaves behind to her first-born daughter Chloe.“Her laughter was so contagious and would fill a room,” the obituary says.she loved animals with dreams of becoming a veterinarian, even going as far as ‘finding’ a dog that she brought home, Dobby may still be questionable situation.Holidays with family and friends were a great joy in her life, she was thoughtful and caring and kind, loved everyone and everything.” Copyright 2026 WSMV.All rights reserved.Join The Conversation We want to hear what you think.Create a free account to share your thoughts.Read our community guidelines here.
