Mark your calendars, Anne Arundel County Public Schools has released its 2026 commencement plan, with 22 ceremonies scheduled over two weeks and most large-school events returning to The Hall at Live!Event Center at Arundel Mills.Ceremonies at Live!will run May 26, 2026 to June 5, 2026, with additional graduations hosted at school and community venues across the county.Where and when ceremonies will be held AACPS says graduating seniors from 14 high schools will receive diplomas at the Live!Event Center, while eight other schools will hold ceremonies at alternate sites.How to watch online For families and friends who can’t attend in person, AACPS will stream commencement exercises live on AACPS-TV and the district’s YouTube channel.Recordings will remain online after the events.Tickets, arrival, and security All guests entering Live!must have a ticket; there is no will call and no re-entry.Seating is general admission.Families may line up 90 minutes before the ceremony, and graduates must report to the staging area one hour prior to start time.The district prohibits items such as noisemakers, laser pointers, balloons, and signs inside the venue.Parking and accessibility AACPS advises using Maryland Route 100 (Exit 10, Ridge Road/Route 713) or the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (Arundel Mills Boulevard exit) to reach the Event Center.Parking is available in the hotel garage and the surface lot across the street, with marked ADA spaces for vehicles displaying appropriate placards.The venue is fully accessible and includes wheelchair seating; families needing interpreters should coordinate through their school in advance.After the ceremony Graduates will exit first, followed by families, who will meet their students in the parking lot.AACPS encourages families to take photos outside and depart promptly to keep traffic moving for subsequent ceremonies and mall visitors.For the full schedule and updates, visit the AACPS graduations page.Event Center information for families will be posted here as graduation ceremonies draw near.
