Marshalltown - Joseph Frank Lee, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 13, 2026, at the Iowa Veterans Home, where he had resided since 2018.Arrangements are with Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.Born June 27, 1934, in Cashton, Wisconsin, to Burton and Adelle (Frank) Lee, Joe graduated from Cashton High School and later attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison.He served in the United States Army in Korea from 1954 to 1956 before graduating from Luther College in 1958.Joe spent 39 years with Wilson Foods, advancing from an entry-level position to department head.In 1960, he married Carol Moore, and together they raised two children.Following Carol's death in 1993, he married Ann Ketelsen in 1995 and warmly embraced her family as his own.A man of strong faith, Joe was devoted to his family, proud of his military service, and an enthusiastic fan of the Green Bay Packers and Iowa Hawkeyes.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol Lee; and his wife, Ann Lee.Survivors include his daughter, Dana (David) Hagstrom; his son, David (Julie) Lee; his sister, Kären Louise Lee Warmack; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; Ann's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.Joe's presence in this world will be greatly missed by all who knew him.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Faith Life Lutheran Church or Iowa Veterans Home-4th Floor Dack.The funeral will be held at Faith Life Lutheran in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at 2:00 p.m.on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, with visitation held at the church one hour before.Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.
