Central Florida's Independent Jewish Voice More than 150 guests gathered at Grand Living Park at Lake Mary on Wednesday, June 10, for the annual Jewish Pavilion Senior Services Cocktail Party, enjoying an evening filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, live music, networking, and philanthropy. The event brought together community leaders, business professionals, supporters, volunteers, and friends of Jewish Pavilion Senior Services. Guests mingled throughout the beautiful senior living community while enjoying an impressive selection of culinary offerings provided by community partners and vendors. The lively event featured a silent auction, exciting live auction, and raffle prizes that generated enthusiasm and support throughout the evening. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with one another while learning more about the important work being done on behalf of seniors throughout Central Florida. Vanessa Stein, assistant director of Jewish Pavilion Senior Services, addressed the crowd and spoke passionately about the organization's mission of enhancing the lives of elders living in long-term care communities. She highlighted the many programs that bring comfort, companionship, Jewish cultural experiences, holiday celebrations, music, and meaningful connections to seniors who might otherwise feel isolated. Stein also discussed the valuable services offered through the Orlando Senior Help Desk, a free resource that assists seniors and their family members with navigating the often-complex world of elder care. The Help Desk provides information, referrals, and guidance on senior living options, home health care, rehabilitation services, elder law, hospice care, and a wide range of community resources. "The need for compassionate guidance and support continues to grow," Stein noted. "The Orlando Senior Help Desk helps families make informed decisions while connecting them with trusted resources and services." The evening was a tremendous success thanks to the generosity of sponsors, donors, volunteers, vendors, and attendees whose support helps Jewish Pavilion Senior Services continue its mission of serving seniors throughout Central Florida. Jewish Pavilion Senior Services enriches the lives of hundreds of seniors residing in elder-care communities by providing Jewish cultural programs, holiday celebrations, volunteer visits, and companionship. Through the Orlando Senior Help Desk, the organization also serves seniors and families of all faiths who need assistance accessing elder-care resources.
