Oregon man arrested for recklessly endangering safety.Oregon man arrested for recklessly endangering safety OREGON, Wis.(WMTV) - One person was arrested in the Village of Oregon for endangering safety on Saturday, May 30, the Oregon Police Department announced on Monday.According to police, a 37-year-old Oregon man was arrested just before 11 a.m.after officers responded to a reported weapons violation.Police explained that additional information revealed that an intoxicated man allegedly pressed the end of the barrel of a handgun up against a female’s head and stated “bang” at 3 a.m.on Tuesday, May 26 in the Oregon home.No injuries were reported from the threat, the Oregon Police Department explained.The man, whose name was not revealed by the Oregon Police Department, was taken to Dane County Jail.According to police, the man has been tentatively charged with one count of first degree recklessly endangering safety.Click here to download the WMTV15 News app or our WMTV15 First Alert weather app.Copyright 2026 WMTV.All rights reserved.
