INDIANAPOLIS — An Anderson man has been sentenced to four decades in prison for child molesting and sexual misconduct.Andres Guajardo, 42, was sentenced to 46 years, with 40 years to be executed at the Indiana Department of Correction and six years to be suspended to formal probation.The Madison County Prosecutor's Office said Guajardo pleaded guilty to two counts of child molesting, two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and one count of child molesting on March 25, 2026.Guajardo was also found guilty of being a sexually violent predator and ordered to register as a sex offender for life.According to court documents, the victim had been molested by Guajardo for two years.In an interview with police, court documents say Guajardo eventually admitted to molesting the victim several times.Guajardo told police after it happened the first time, he thought it's "too late to get out of this." According to court documents, Guajardo said the victim would "instigate" the molestation.Court documents say Guajardo told police that he is a "monster for this."
