A 21-year-old Hallsville man was seriously injured in a crash early Saturday morning in Boone County. At 1:16 a.m., the driver travelled off the left side of the road and overturned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. The crash occurred as the man, driving a 2024 Jeep Cherokee, was traveling north on U.S. 63 near East Dripping Springs Road, according to the report. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the report. Boone County EMS transported the 21-year-old to University Hospital, and Tiger Towing towed the totaled vehicle, according to the report.
