Man accused of sexually assaulting child in Leesburg.Man accused of sexually assaulting child in Leesburg LEESBURG, Va.(7News) — A 32-year-old Leesburg man has been arrested after police said he sexually assaulted a child.According to the Leesburg Police Department, on June 8, officers first heard a report about the sexual assault of a minor under 13.SEE ALSO| Daughter, girlfriend arrested in Ohio after 67-year-old mom killed in Silver Spring Detectives immediately initiated an investigation into the allegations," LPD said."As a result of that investigation, detectives arrested Jose Edwin Ruano Navas, 32, of Leesburg, on June 10, 2026." Navas faces a charge of aggravated sexual battery of a Minor Under the Age of 13.He was taken to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and is being held without bond.The investigation is still underway.Anyone with information should call the Leesburg Police Department at 703-771-4500.
