Tennessee fugitive extradited in deaths of Mid-Michigan mother, baby.A man charged in the deaths of a mid-Michigan woman and her unborn child has been extradited to Michigan after authorities tracked him down in Tennessee, according to Michigan State Police.The investigation began about 6 p.m.12 when a 34-year-old Flint woman, who was 30 weeks pregnant, was shot while standing outside her home and talking on the phone in the 300 block of Browning Avenue.Advertisement Article continues below this ad She was taken to a hospital, where she and her unborn child later died.Detectives identified Leo Stringer, 31, of Flint, as a suspect.Authorities said Stringer was located in Tennessee and arrested May 12.After being extradited to Michigan, Stringer was held at the Genesee County Jail on charges of first-degree murder and multiple weapons offenses.He was arraigned June 7 in Genesee County 67th District Court.Advertisement Article continues below this ad The investigation remains active.Police are asking anyone with information about the case or other violent crimes in Genesee County to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-422-JAIL.
