Nearly $5.9 million in unclaimed property is waiting to be claimed in Madison County, and Kentucky State Treasurer Mark Metcalf visited Richmond Monday to help residents find money owed to them.
The Unclaimed Property Roadshow was held at the Madison County Courthouse Annex on West Irvine Street as part of Kentucky’s first Unclaimed Property Week, an initiative aimed at raising awareness about money residents may not know they have.
