Educational purpose only
Regional Industry & News (US State Stability Dashboard) is a personal educational project operated by the site operator. It is intended to help people explore how public economic data and news signals might relate to regional industry structure. It is not financial, investment, trading, tax, or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or to take any particular economic action.
No professional relationship
Using this site does not create an advisor–client, fiduciary, or professional relationship of any kind. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions that affect your finances, employment, relocation, or safety.
Automated data and scores
Stability scores, industry health values, macro bars, impact indices, story clusters, consensus-fact summaries, and similar outputs are generated by automated pipelines. They may be delayed, incomplete, misclassified, or wrong. Scores are relative comparisons between states at a point in time — not official government indices and not guarantees of future conditions.
- Macro indicators (GDP growth, unemployment, inflation) come from public APIs (BLS, BEA) and may lag reality.
- Industry structure uses Census employment baselines that update infrequently.
- News ingestion uses GDELT, curated RSS, and automated text processing that can miss context or mis-route sectors.
- See the Methodology page for known limitations.
News, bias labels, and compare views
Headlines and excerpts link to third-party publishers. We do not verify every story, endorse any outlet, or claim ownership of publisher content. “Bias ratio,” “biased,” and related labels are machine-learning estimates — algorithmic outputs, not factual findings, editorial judgments, or accusations of bad journalism. Consensus-fact lists show overlapping wording across outlets; they are not fact-checking.
Third-party services and trademarks

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the site operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — this site or reliance on its content. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
