MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Monongalia County deputies have charged a man after a shots-fired call Thursday.
Deputies responded to a report of an argument between two men at a short-term rental on Chestnut Ridge Road at a few minutes after 10 a.m.. One of the men, later identified as Cameron Hall of Ohio, is accused of pulling a gun and hitting the victim in the face. During the fight, according to deputies, the weapon went off and grazed the victim in the shoulder before hitting a parked car.
No other injuries were reported.
Hall has been charged with wanton endangerment and malicious assault.
The victim is hospitalized.
The West Virginia State Police and Monongalia County EMS also responded to the scene.
