Judge dismisses misdemeanor charge against former Nebraska state senator
A judge dismissed a misdemeanor charge against a former Nebraska state senator.
Dan McKeon was charged with disturbing the peace, a Class 3 misdemeanor, after being accused of inappropriate conduct with a legislative staffer last year.

According to court documents, McKeon completed a diversion program.
In October, the Nebraska State Patrol cited McKeon, who represented District 41, for inappropriately touching a woman.
He announced his resignation from the Nebraska Legislature in January.
