Vigil to be held for Tyrin Johnson on Sunday in Downtown Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A vigil is scheduled on Sunday night for the 20-year-old shot and killed by two Tennessee National Guard members.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Tyrin Johnson was carrying a handgun before he was shot and killed.
The TBI said police chased him following a shots fired call in the early morning hours of July 5. The Tennessee National Guard soldiers assigned to the area joined the chase, and a few moments later, Johnson was shot and killed.
The vigil will begin at 8:00 p.m. between AutoZone Park and the Fielder Square Apartments.
