Couple killed in head-on crash in Dearborn County, sergeant says driver left seriously injured DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind.(WXIX) -A couple was killed, and a driver is seriously injured after a head-on crash in Dearborn County Friday evening, according to Sgt.Stephen Wheeles with the Indiana State Police.Wheeles says 33-year-old Jordan Walters and his wife, Sierra Walters, were killed in a head-on collision at 6 p.m.on State Route 350.Investigators found that a 2006 Ford F-150, driven by 46-year-old Steven Witte, was traveling west on State Route 350 when, for reasons that are not yet known, his vehicle crossed into the opposite lane and collided with Jordan’s eastbound 2017 GMC Terrain, according to Sgt.Download the FREE FOX19 NOW news app for iPhone Download the FREE FOX19 NOW news app for Android After the crash, the Ford F-150 spun around and came to a stop in the middle of the road, while the GMC Terrain left the south side of the road and ended up at an embankment.Wheeles says Jordan and Sierra were pronounced dead at the scene.Their two small children, who were sitting in the back seats, sustained minor injuries and were taken to area hospitals, Sgt.Wheeles said.The crash is still under investigation.Toxicology reports are still pending.State Road 350 was closed for about four hours for crash investigation and cleanup, Sgt.Wheeles said.See a spelling or grammatical error in our story?Please click here to report it.Do you have a photo or video of a breaking news story?Send it to us here with a brief description.Copyright 2026 WXIX.All rights reserved.
