Nashville man accused in retail theft spree arrested on 18 outstanding charges

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A convicted felon accused of stealing from multiple big-box retailers over the past year has been arrested on 18 outstanding charges, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

Corrichard Andreko Wells, 38, was taken into custody Thursday following an MNPD investigation.

Investigators said Wells had become a known shoplifting suspect at stores including Target, Walmart and Marshalls. He was wanted on 10 theft charges tied to cases dating back to October 2025.

Detectives recovered a gun during Wells' arrest on Nolensville Pike, officers said.

In addition to the theft charges, Wells was charged with four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after investigators said he brought his son with him during multiple shoplifting incidents.

Investigators said Wells is also wanted on outstanding warrants in Williamson, Wilson, Cheatham, Sumner and Montgomery counties.
