Stephen Bear has been jailed for over a year for breaching a restraining order. The Celebrity Big Brother winner's sentence was related to his 2023 conviction for filming a sex tape of former girlfriend Georgia Harrison without her consent and posting it online.
At the time, he was given a 21-month sentence, being released after half his sentence was served, was placed on the sex offenders' register and was given a five-year restraining order.
However, he posted about the case between March and July last year despite the restraining order, and was charged with harassment, with the CPS saying he made degrading comments about Harrison and encouraged others to post about her.
Bear has now been sentenced to 16 months in prison at Chelmsford Crown Court, with the reality star handed a new restraining order banning him from contacting Harrison indefinitely.
Harrison, who handed police screenshots and recordings of Bear's accusations and comments about her, said in response: "Essex Police took me seriously when so many women in my position are overlooked. They treated this as the serious crime it is – not a celebrity story. It is a real offence against a real person.
"They built the case properly, they stayed with it, and when the order was breached, they acted instead of shrugging. From the messages I get every day, I know how rare that still is. If every force treated this the way Essex Police did, thousands of women would feel safer today."

"Stephen Bear's behaviour is not okay and it should not be normalised or accepted," added Detective Constable Swarv Stafin, who led the investigation. "The impacts of being harassed are very real. It causes a great deal of stress and anxiety – it is something no-one should have to experience."
Paying tribute to Harrison's "courage and dignity", Stafin added: "I would urge anyone that is experiencing any sort of harassing behaviour to go to the police, no matter how small or big it is, it will be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly."
In a separate legal matter, Bear has pleaded guilty to five offences related to breaches of the sex offenders' register. The reality star admitted a failure to comply with notification requirements in the wake of his 2023 conviction.
This included failing to notify police about a trip to Brazil last year, failing to tell officers he returned to the UK in the required three-day period in April 2026, and failure to tell police he obtained a replacement passport abroad, as well as two new bank cards. He is expected to return to Thames Magistrates' Court on 14 August.
