HCPD assists with security during President Trump’s visit
MYRTLE BEACH SC. (WPDE) — The Horry County Police Department (HCPD) assisted with law enforcement and public safety operations during President Donald Trump’s visit to the Grand Strand.
According to HCPD, officers and personnel from the department worked with law enforcement and public safety partners from across South Carolina, as well as federal agencies, as part of the preparations for the visit.
The department said personnel were involved in planning, coordinating and responding to the needs of the event.

Multiple agencies were present during the visit, with officers working in different assignments throughout the area.
HCPD said the operation involved coordination among the participating agencies to address public safety during the president’s visit.
