Escaped inmate back in custody in Lincoln County

An inmate who escaped from the Lincoln County Detention Center has been taken back into custody.
According to the Carrizozo Police Department, Ralph Miranda escaped from the detention center on Tuesday morning.

It is unknown how Miranda escaped, and details have not been released about the escape.
New Mexico State Police, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and Carrizozo Police all assisted in the search for Miranda.
