BECKLEY, W.Va. — One man has been arrested and police are searching for another in connection to a metal theft in Raleigh County.
Beckley police said the West Virginia Heating and Cooling business along Central Avenue was robbed on June 26. Two men are accused of breaking in, stealing over $4,500 worth of metals, including copper, and driving off in a U-Haul truck.
Police said David Linkswiler, 42, has already been brought into custody and charged with breaking and entering.
Authorities have a warrant out on Wesley Plumley, 34, as well.
Linkswiler is behind bars in the Southern Regional Jail. He’s being held on $50,000 bail.
