Brandon Todd Klosterman
Brandon Todd Klosterman, age 39, passed away on December 20, 2025, in Bonita Springs, Florida. He was born on October 20, 1986, in Fargo, ND, and spent his early years growing up in Moorhead, MN, where he developed a deep love for the outdoors and an enduring bond with family.
Brandon was active from a young age, enjoying sports, hunting, and fishing, interests that remained central throughout his life. One of his most cherished places was Battle Lake, MN, where he and his father spent countless hours fishing together, forming memories that Brandon held close to his heart. He also shared a love of adventure with his father through shark fishing, experiences that reflected Brandon’s fearless spirit and joy for life.
Before starting his own businesses, Brandon worked for many years as a server at The Cheesecake Factory, where his work ethic, warmth, and natural ability to connect with others were evident to all who knew him. It was during a fishing trip to Costa Rica that Brandon met the love of his life, Dama. Their connection was immediate and enduring. After dating, Brandon and Dama were married on in April of 2015, in a beautiful beach ceremony in Naples, Florida.
Together, Brandon and Dama made their home in Bonita Springs, where Dama worked as a massage therapist at Healing Hands of SWFL. Brandon was a devoted husband and a tireless worker. He owned and operated a vending machine company for approximately six years before following his entrepreneurial spirit into a new career, managing a painting service, That One Painter, which he proudly ran in the Bonita Springs area.
Brandon took immense pride in his work and in providing for those he loved. After he and Dama lost their home during Hurricane Irma, Brandon undertook the enormous task of rebuilding. He forged strong friendships with his neighbors and became a deeply respected and beloved member of his community.
Brandon and Dama shared a special bond with their Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Kona, who brought immeasurable joy to their lives. Brandon’s love for Kona was so great that he even considered a future career in dog training—another reflection of his gentle, patient, and devoted nature.
Above all, Brandon will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and unfailing willingness to help others. He lived with integrity, generosity, and quiet strength, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Brandon is survived by his wife Dama Klosterman, his parents, Steve and Mary Klosterman of Naples, Florida; his mother, Sandra Klosterman of Bonita Springs, Florida; his step-sister, Greta (Luke) Schweitzer of Dickinson, ND; his aunts, Susan (Jim) Finke of Woodbury, MN, and Deborah (Wayne) Bergerud of Richville, MN; and his uncle, Steve Krebs of Minneapolis, MN. Cousins Matt Krebs, Minneapolis, MN; Elizabeth Krebs, Africa; Aaron Johnson, Minneapolis, MN; and Christian Johnson, Rancho Mirage, CA.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Danny and Elaine F. Klosterman formerly of Wahpeton, ND; Ralph and Rose Krebs formerly of Wahpeton, ND; and cousin Jason Clemenson.
