Trinity Episcopal Church in Shelburne is delighted to welcome The Reverend Tommy Sheppard, MS, MDiv, DAS, as its new priest. Sheppard most recently served as Rector of Trinity Church in Moundsville, West Virginia, and succeeds the Rev. Dr. Frederick Moser, who retired last year.
Warm, outgoing and engaging, Sheppard brings enthusiasm, humor and a compassionate approach to ministry, according to a press release. His experience extends beyond parish ministry to hospital chaplaincy, counseling and work with children and families, bringing a broad pastoral perspective to his new role at Trinity.
Sheppard’s arrival also marks the beginning of a new Constellation partnership with St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Colchester. The two congregations share his ministry while each continues its own worship, traditions and community life. Sheppard celebrates and preaches at Trinity on the second and fourth Sundays of each month and at St. Andrew’s on the first and third Sundays.
Trinity offers hybrid worship every Sunday at 9:30 a.m., with Sunday School for children.
