Des Moines police are investigating an apparent dog attack on the city's north side.
Officers were called just before 2 p.m. Friday to an apartment building on Euclid Avenue near McHenry Park. KCCI crews saw a woman taken from the scene with serious injuries. A dog was detained by animal control.
