Zach Bryan and Turnpike Troubadours are in the studio together, and the Oklahoma band's cryptic social media post has sent fans into a frenzy. Turnpike shared photos from the recording session on September 15 showing frontman Evan Felker alongside Bryan, accompanied by the simple caption, “ZB & TT.”
The post didn't reveal what the artists were working on, but the timing and especially the song Turnpike selected for the post have fans convinced that an official collaboration could be on the way.

The photos show Felker and Bryan in the studio. Turnpike didn't provide any additional details about the session, leaving fans to connect the dots themselves.
And there was one particularly interesting clue. The band used Bryan's “East Side of Sorrow” as the audio accompanying the Instagram post. That choice is hardly random.
The 2023 song famously references Turnpike's reunion after the band had spent years away from the spotlight. Bryan sings about hearing that Turnpike was back together and writing songs, making the track a particularly meaningful connection between the two acts.
Now, three years later, Turnpike has used that very song while teasing a studio session with Bryan.
Bryan Has Never Hidden His Love for Turnpike
Bryan's admiration for Turnpike Troubadours goes back long before he became one of country music's biggest stars.
The band helped shape the independent and Red Dirt country scene that influenced a generation of artists, and Bryan has repeatedly acknowledged their impact on him. He even referred to Turnpike as his “favorite band in the entire world” ahead of their appearance at the 2024 Buckeye Country Superfest.
Turnpike joined Bryan for select dates on his Quittin' Time Tour and later supported him at major shows in Dublin, London's Hyde Park and San Francisco's Golden Gate Park in 2025.
Despite that extensive history, however, the artists had never released a proper studio recording together.
