MIDDLESEX — The VA250 Mobile Museum will be parked at the Deltaville Maritime Museum in Middlesex County through Thursday.
The mobile museum — “Out of Many, One” — is an innovative traveling exhibit housed within a custom-built 53-foot expandable tractor-trailer. It will be available for free visits from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Utilizing high-tech displays, interactive exhibits and compelling artifacts, the museum offers visitors of all ages an engaging journey through the pivotal events, groundbreaking ideas and diverse individuals who shaped America in its earliest days,” a news release said. “It highlights Virginia’s essential contributions as the birthplace of the nation and its ongoing pursuit of a more perfect union.”
The VA250 Mobile Museum has been traveling throughout Virginia since January 2025, stopping at various locations such as museums, fairs and community centers. It arrived at the Deltaville museum, located at 287 Jackson Creek Road, on Tuesday. For more information, visit va250.org/mobile-museum.
