Emergency teams are responding to multiple fires Thursday afternoon

UPDATE:

CANADIAN COUNTY, OKLA (KOKH) — The inside lane of I-40 eastbound has now been reopened. All other lanes remain closed as crews battle the grass fire.

Emergency crews have shut down NW 10th Street, from Mustang Plant Road to Council, to contain the fire.

ORIGINAL:

A large grass fire has shut down all eastbound lanes of I-40 at the 117-mile marker in Canadian County, Oklahoma.

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the lanes shut down around 4:08 p.m.

Emergency crews are also responding to a separate fire near NW 10th and Mustang Plant Road.

Oklahoma City Fire Department confirms that 15 separate teams are on site.

The fire has been located to Lakeview Terrace mobile home park.

One trailer has been fully engulfed, according to OKCFD.
