MOULTON, Iowa — A southeast Iowa teen now faces six felony charges following a shooting that happened Monday afternoon in Moulton.
The Appanoose County Sheriff's Office said late Tuesday that Drakona Lee Clark, 17, of Moulton, is now charged with three counts of attempted murder and three counts of willful injury after three adults were shot at a home in Moulton.
It happened at 212 East Third Street where investigators say Clark was involved in a physical altercation with other family members.
The sheriff said Clark went and got a semi-automatic hand gun from his father's bedroom and intentionally shot his estranged stepmother, his 20-year-old brother and his brother's 22-year-old girlfriend.
All three victims were taken to hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Authorities said Clark fled the home on foot after the incident, and officers arrested him approximately eight blocks away.
He was treated for injuries suffered during the altercation.
Clark is being held in the Appanoose County jail on $85,000 cash-only bond.
