Drone show added to Beaver Creek Oktoberfest
Live music, a kids zone, costume contests and more on Labor Day weekend
Grab your steins and lederhosen and head to Beaver Creek this fall to celebrate Bavarian food and live music from three classic rock cover bands and experience Colorado’s largest drone show. Beaver Creek Resort will celebrate Oktoberfest over Labor Day weekend, Sept. 4-6, on the Village Green with live music, delicious beer and authentic food including warm pretzels, schnitzel with noodles and Bavarian-inspired twists on American classics.
On Friday night, the choreographed aerial drone display will illuminate the mountain night with dazzling formations, creating the perfect finale to opening night.
Festivalgoers can purchase a commemorative Oktoberfest stein and sample Stiegl beers from six bar locations in The Village, as well as sip Aperol spritz and other refreshing cocktails at the Aperol Cocktail Patio. Beaver Creek Oktoberfest welcomes families and children will enjoy an inflatable kids zone and face painting on Saturday and Sunday. Attendees can also compete in a pretzel toss competition; hammerschlagen, a traditional game where participants compete to drive nails into a large tree stump or wooden beam; best lederhosen and dirndls; and stein-lifting contests.

Beaver Creek Oktoberfest, Village Green
- Friday, Sept. 4, 4-9:30 p.m. Live music includes Trachtenkapelle, Austria’s traditional band from Beaver Creek’s sister city; Spinphony; and The Electric Light Orchestra Experience. Following the live music, the drone show will begin at 9 p.m. over the hillside of the Centennial chairlift.
- Saturday, Sept. 5, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Live music includes Trachtenkapelle; The Helmut Fricker Band; Grown Men in Lederhosen; and Always Tina: A Tribute to Tina Turner.
- Sunday, Sept. 6, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Live music includes Trachtenkapelle; The Helmut Fricker Band; Grown Men in Lederhosen; and Live From Earth: Pat Benatar and Beyond.
