Trio from Texas sentenced for stealing over 25,000 doses of pain pills, other controlled substances
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A trio from Houston, Texas, has been sentenced to prison for stealing 25,610 doses of pain pills and other controlled substances from pharmacies.
Anthony Ray Venwright, 33, Jonathan Fore, 30, and Erik Dewayne Lyons Jr., 21, were sentenced to 120 months, 87 months and 46 months in prison, respectively. They were also each ordered to pay $62,708 in restitution.
The men admitted to stealing from pharmacies in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Overland Park, Kansas, and Maryland Heights in July 2025.
The men each pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in St. Louis to conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute controlled substances and entering a pharmacy with the intent to steal controlled substances.
