Baltimore man convicted in drug and gun case wanted by federal, local authorities
BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A Baltimore man convicted in a drug and gun investigation is now wanted by federal and local authorities.
Aaron Grant Zeigler, 38, is wanted on a federal probation violation, as well as on a failure to appear.

A warrant was issued for Zeigler’s arrest in connection to the federal case back in September 2025.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Zeigler is accused of violating the terms of his post-supervised release.
Investigators said Zeigler was on probation in connection to a drug and gun investigation in Baltimore City.
According to court documents, back in November 2018 officers with the Baltimore Police Department were conducting surveillance in the Madison Park community. Specifically, within the 100 block of Bloom Street and the 2100 block of Madison Avenue.
“During the course of the surveillance, several individuals were observed engaging in drug transactions,” Al Maresca, senior inspector with the U.S. Marshals Service, said.
Investigators said one of those individuals was later identified as Aaron Zeigler, who was 31-years-old at the time.
According to Baltimore Police, the group separated and ran as officers approached them, and during a brief foot chase Zeigler threw a bag.
“Officers were able to recover the bag,” Maresca said.
Investigators said inside the bag was a loaded Black Smith and Wesson revolver with six live rounds.
Zeigler was placed under arrest.
“Investigators confirmed Zeigler was prohibited from possessing a firearm due to a prior felony conviction,” Maresca said.
The case went to federal court.
Zeigler was charged and later accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a prohibited person.
The following year a judge sentenced Zeigler to 37 months or three years in prison followed by three years supervised release.
“Once Zeiger served his sentence, his post-supervised release commenced,” Maresca said.

But in July 2025, court records show Zeigler was charged with misdemeanor theft in Baltimore City, triggering a violation of his federal probation.
Records show on October 31, 2025, he failed to show up to his scheduled trial for the theft case, causing authorities to issue another warrant for his arrest.
Zeigler is now wanted by federal authorities for a probation violation, and local authorities for a failure to appear in court.
Court records show Zeigler’s criminal history dates back at least 20 years with prior drug-related arrests and a robbery crime spree that landed him in prison, back in 2008.
Investigators said in May of that year Zeigler and others targeted, assaulted, and robbed or attempted to rob a taxicab driver, USPS mail carrier, and a delivery driver in separate crimes.
Zeigler was arrested and sentenced to five years in prison, followed by probation.
Court records show he was accused of violating the terms of the probation on at least one occasion.
Zeigler is now once again on the run, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
“It’s pertinent that we locate Mr. Zeigler,” Maresca said. ”He’s wanted by both federal and local authorities. He’s accused of committing more crimes while on probation for another crime. For these reasons there’s always a concern for public safety. That’s why we’re turning to the viewers of Maryland’s Most Wanted, so we can locate and safely take him into custody.”
