Western Montana Fair preps second theme

MISSOULA, Mont. — This year, the Western Montana Fair is broken into two different themes, bringing a new flair to the festivities.

In order to transition between the two themes, the fair designated Monday as the transition day where the crew turns the grounds over from high-energy motorsports and mechanical showcases to traditional agriculture, livestock and rodeo.

The day off gives crews time to move in livestock and ag exhibits.

They reconfigure parts of the fairgrounds after all the motorsport events and prepare the barns, arenas and spaces for the rodeo, Extreme Bulls and 4-H and FAA competitions.
