A man is hospitalized after police said he was shot in the leg while leaving a party in North Philadelphia.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, on Sunday, July 26, 2026, around 3:50 a.m., Temple University Police officers responded to Temple University Hospital after receiving a report of a walk-in gunshot victim.

The victim, a 38-year-old man, had arrived at the hospital by private vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to his right knee, police said. He was listed in stable condition.

Police said a preliminary investigation found that the man was leaving a party when he was shot in the area of the 2100 block of North 18th Street. Officers responded to that location and found a scene.

No arrests have been made, and a motive has not been determined, police said.
