Man apprehended following 'active shooter incident' in Fayetteville, deputies say.Man apprehended following 'active shooter incident' in Fayetteville, deputies say FAYETTEVILLE, W.Va.(WCHS) — A man was taken into custody Thursday after law enforcement responded to an "active shooter incident" in Fayette County, deputies said.Investigators identified 32-year-old Max David Johnson, of Fayetteville as a suspect.Deputies were dispatched to a Wolf Creek Road address in Fayetteville following reports of an armed man entering a business while employees and customers were present, according to a news release from the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.The release said the business was evacuated as authorities worked to apprehend a suspect.No injuries were reported.Deputies reported receiving assistance on scene from West Virginia State Police along with police officers from Fayetteville and Oak Hill.This story will be updated as new details become available.
