TrueNorth Steel Names Kim Greek director of Tank Sales

FARGO, N.D. — Kim Greek has joined TrueNorth Steel as Director of Tank Sales, supporting the company's position as a leading manufacturer of turnkey above and underground tank solutions.

Greek brings over 20 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution and infrastructure-related industries, helping organizations grow through sales leadership, business operations and customer engagement. In his role, Greek will lead sales initiatives across TrueNorth Steel's tank portfolio, supporting clients in the energy, petroleum, convenience retail, commercial fueling and oilfield markets. He will partner cross-functionally to exceed customer expectations through responsive service, reliable lead times and a commitment to client success, the pillars that have guided the family-owned business since 1945.

Bobcat announces North America leadership transition; President Mike Ballweber to retire, CEO Scott Park named interim leader

WEST FARGO, N.D. – Bobcat Company announced the upcoming retirement of Mike Ballweber, president of Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc., effective July 31, following a distinguished career spanning nearly 30 years with the company.

With Ballweber’s retirement, Scott Park, CEO and vice chairman of Doosan Bobcat Inc., will serve as interim president of the North America region, working closely with the regional leadership team to maintain continuity until a successor is named. In this capacity, Park will help ensure continued execution of Bobcat’s strategic priorities and long-range growth plans, while maintaining continuity for employees, dealers and customers. Bobcat remains focused on serving customers, supporting its dealer network and continuing priorities already underway across product innovation, manufacturing and long-term growth.

“Mike’s impact on this business has been significant—not just in the results he helped deliver, but in the way he led,” said Park. “He brought a deep commitment to our employees, dealers and customers, and he helped position Bobcat for continued success. Ballweber joined Bobcat in 1998 and was appointed president in 2019. During his tenure, he helped strengthen Bobcat’s dealer network, expand the company’s product portfolio and advance manufacturing and innovation initiatives. He guided the business through some of its most complex operating environments in its history, including the COVID-19 pandemic and global supply chain challenges, while supporting a period of accelerated growth and expansion. Throughout, he maintained a strong focus on customers, dealers and employees.

Ackerman-Estvold’s Kevin Ploof certified as Minnesota Wetland Professional

MINOT, N.D. – Kevin Ploof recently earned his Wetland Professional of Minnesota from the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources.

Ploof attended training, tested, and passed to earn his Certified Minnesota Wetland Professional license. By earning this designation, he has an advanced understanding of multiple subject areas: wetland identification and delineation, wetland restoration, state and federal wetland regulations (rules, policies, procedures), wetland functional assessment, and wetland monitoring in the state of Minnesota. Ploof is also the lead of the Ackerman-Estvold Environmental team and helping provide other environmental services to clients in North Dakota which include wetland delineations, US Army Corps of Engineers 404 permitting, Phase I.

Ackerman-Estvold’s Sam Paszek earns Wetland certification

MINOT, N.D. – Sam Paszek recently earned his Professional In-Training (PIT) Certification from the Minnesota Wetland Professional Program through the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources.

Paszek attended training and has passed testing to earn his certification as a Minnesota Wetland Professional In-Training. By earning this designation, he has demonstrated a fundamental understanding of the basic technical tools, rules, policies, and guidance associated with wetland regulatory compliance in Minnesota. Ackerman-Estvold also provides other environmental services, including wetland delineations, US Army Corps of Engineers 404 permitting, Phase I.

Bredahl receives Outstanding Rural Health Professional Award

JAMESTOWN, N.D., Jun. 12, 2026 — Jenna Bredahl, quality and risk manager at Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC), received the Outstanding Rural Health Professional Award at the 2026 Rural Health Awards Banquet on June 3 in Grand Forks.

The award recognizes a rural North Dakota health professional who demonstrates outstanding leadership in delivering health services and a sustained commitment to improving the health of their rural community and service area.

Bredahl began her career at JRMC more than 20 years ago as a nurse aide and advanced through various roles before leading the organization’s quality, risk and patient safety efforts.

“Jenna’s leadership has helped strengthen the quality and reliability of care across our organization,” said Trisha Jungels, JRMC Chief Nursing Officer “Her commitment to strong processes, data-driven improvement and accountability has helped ensure that rural patients receive care that meets the highest standards.”

Throughout her career, Bredahl has championed initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and enhancing safety practices in Jamestown and the surrounding areas. Her efforts have helped JRMC foster a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring patients receive high-quality care close to home.

Bredahl also helped establish JRMC’s Patient and Family Advisory Council for Quality and Safety, giving patients and families a voice in care experiences and organizational decision-making. The initiative has strengthened collaboration between the organization and the community it serves.

In addition, Bredahl played a key role in advancing JRMC’s organ and tissue donation program, helping expand awareness, education and donation opportunities across the region.

Her dedication to clinical excellence, patient safety and quality improvement has left a lasting impact on JRMC and reflects the organization’s commitment to providing exceptional care close to home.

The Rural Health Awards Banquet recognizes individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to rural healthcare across North Dakota. The event was held in conjunction with the Dakota Conference on Rural Health.
