A judge decided Tuesday that a lawsuit by the family of Rashawn Williams, a man who is nonverbal and has Down syndrome, against the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority can move forward. The suit stems from a 2023 incident in which Williams wandered into an “area of refuge” at the Glenmont Metro station and survived being locked in for six days without food or water. Silver Spring man fatally shot in Prince George’s County
Malcom King, 41, of Silver Spring was fatally shot Thursday in Prince George’s County. The suspected shooter was later found dead in Harford County from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. [WUSA9]
