Two teenagers have been charged after they allegedly kidnapped and robbed a man more than three times their age.

The 15 and 16-year-old boys are accused of approaching a 51-year-old man on Barina Avenue in Lake Heights and forcing him into his car.
Police will allege the teens then told the man to drive to a bank at Warrawong Plaza to withdraw money.
"On arrival at the bank, one of the males allegedly escorted the 51-year-old man inside; however, he fled the scene after being confronted by an employee," a NSW Police spokesperson said.

Police officers created Strike Force Vadek to investigate the alleged crime spree.
On July 31 they released CCTV images of a black SUV Range Rover with red P-plates seen near Warrawong Plaza at the time the man was allegedly ordered to drive there.
That same day, police arrested a 16-year-old boy and charged him with kidnapping and robbery offences.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear in a Children's Court on Tuesday, August 25.
On August 5, police raided homes in Berkeley and Lake Heights and allegedly seized clothing and mobile phones from the properties.
