Georgia’s Interior Ministry said 83 foreign nationals have been deported from the country in recent days. Those expelled have also been banned from subsequently entering Georgia.
Armenian citizens are among those deported, Panorama.am reports.
“Employees of the Interior Ministry’s Migration Department, in coordinated work with the ministry’s relevant units, have deported 83 foreign nationals from Georgia in recent days,” Georgia’s Interior Ministry said.
According to the ministry’s statement, those deported included citizens of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Russia, Ethiopia, Egypt, Iraq, India, Burundi, Pakistan, Kenya, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Jordan, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, China and other countries.
