LIVE at Husker Harvest Days 2026: Governor Pillen set to speak, celebrating the International Year of the Woman Farmer
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Day two of Husker Harvest Days brought key state leaders and producers together at the center of the show, and viewers can now watch replays of the featured presentations on demand.
The sessions took place Wednesday inside the Hospitality Tent, serving as a focal point for major discussions on the future of Nebraska agriculture and industry milestones.
At noon, Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen joined Nebraska Department of Agriculture Director Sherry Vinton for a forum alongside state FFA officers and Curt Arens, editor of Nebraska Farmer, discussing workforce development and the road ahead for the state’s agricultural economy.
Following at 1 p.m., the stage marked the International Year of the Woman Farmer, featuring producers from across the Western Corn Belt who shared personal victories, perspectives, and experiences from the field.
