INDEPENDENCE, Kan. -- A judge sentenced an Independence, Kansas, man to more than 44 years for a deadly 2020 shooting that killed two men and injured a woman.
In 2020, police arrested James Gofourth, and prosecutors charged him with two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of Tyler Cook and Rodricus Dawson.
Last April, he pleaded no contest.
