Driver killed, passenger injured in crash

DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - Emergency crews rushed to the scene of a serious single-vehicle crash just east of Senath, in Dunklin County, on Wednesday, July 1.
The crash happened on U.S. 412.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a westbound car went off the road just before 1 a.m., hit a ditch and flipped.
MSHP said the driver, a 24-year-old Kennett man, and his female passenger were both thrown from the car.
Troopers report the driver died at the scene and his passenger was flown to a Memphis, Tennessee, hospital with serious injuries.
They said both were not wearing seat belts and the car was totaled in the crash.
MSHP reports this is the 27th crash-related death in Troop E for 2026.
