Cincinnati woman accused of DUI crash with 2 young children in vehicle CINCINNATI (WKRC) — A Cincinnati woman is accused of driving under the influence with two children younger than 5 in her vehicle before crashing into a utility pole on the city's west side. Tiara Person was arraigned in Hamilton County Municipal Court on charges of endangering children, operating a vehicle under the influence, driving under a financial responsibility suspension and reasonable control. According to a court affidavit, the crash happened June 17 near Cheviot Road. Investigators allege Person was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs when she crashed into a utility pole, causing extensive damage to the vehicle and deploying the airbags. Police said the two children were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. Authorities allege Person's actions created a substantial risk to the safety of the children. Court records show Person's bond was set at $2,500 at 10% or electronic monitoring unit (EMU) on both the child endangerment and OVI charges. She was released on her own recognizance on the suspension and reasonable control charges.
