Morgan Wallen's Still the Problem Tour is closing in on a milestone that would make it the top-grossing tour of the year, in any genre, according to early industry estimates. The trek, which launched in April 2026, is projected to gross as much as $500 million by the time it wraps Aug. 1, with 23 dates on the books across North America.
Anticipation for the tour ran high from the start, with several cities projected to see record attendance before the first show even began. That momentum has held: the tour has already sold out major venues including Bryant-Denny Stadium in Alabama, Soldier Field in Illinois, US Bank Stadium in Minnesota, Allegiant Stadium in Nevada, and Memorial Stadium at Clemson in South Carolina.
If the $500 million estimate holds, Wallen would overtake Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour, which grossed $407.6 million, to become the highest-grossing country tour in history. It would also push him past Bad Bunny, currently No. 1 on Pollstar's 2026 mid-year worldwide touring artists ranking, by a wide margin.
Wallen is widely regarded as the most commercially dominant act in country music and among the most popular musicians globally, a status reflected in the tour's box-office pull. Star power aside, the run has leaned on a rotating slate of top openers, including Ella Langley, Brooks & Dunn, Thomas Rhett, Gavin Adcock, and Hardy, depending on the date.
New music is adding to the tour's late-stage momentum. Wallen is set to release a new single, "Been By Now," on July 24, timed to boost interest as the tour heads into its final stretch, with major remaining shows at Michigan Stadium and Lincoln Financial Field.
The run caps off a banner stretch for Wallen that dates back to 2025, seeing the success of his album I'm the Problem, the launch of his own branded satellite radio channel, and a Hot 100 chart appearance with Ella Langley.
